Noboribetsu Primeval Forest, designated as a Natural Monument due to its veritable treasure trove of vegetation, is the perfect place for trekking, particularly Spring and Autumn seasons when the foliage is at its most spectacular.

As you follow the trail you will come across the beautifully rustic Oyunuma River Natural Footbath, where warm onsen water flows though the river to create a genuine natural footbath. Soak up the relaxing atmosphere of the forest as you immerse your feet in water which has been warmed by nature.

Dipping your feet in the warm river is the perfect wat to recover after a long walk!
